Mina's 1st grade teacher plays violin in the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra. At our school auction, my friend, Lesleigh (fellow Masters swimmer/carpool/neighbor/friend and Canadian) and I bid on tickets together. We took Mina and her son to the show. Mina was rather delighted by this event. We had a great view of M’s teacher and the kids loved getting her attention. The kiddos did rather well sitting through two stretches of five songs. To top it off, their teacher, took them out for ice-cream afterwards! It was a very sweet afternoon.
