Awhile back, i read an article about turning a closet into an art space for children. We recently did this, and it has turned out to be the perfect use of the space.
I will also include some random writings of my almost six year old.
Writing in our science journal about ways to help the earth. These are self-thought and self-written.
Translated,
How I can help the Earth:
1. I think I can help the Earth is to pick up garbage
2. Pull out weeds.
3.Put your snack in a cloth bag.
4. Do not waste paper.
5. Walk to school every day.
6. Do not waste electricity.
7. Do not waste gas.
8. Do not waste water.
9. When you go to the grocery store, bring your own bags.
10. Grow your own foods.
11. Buy foods close by.
12. Have pet chickens. You will get eggs from them.
Writing to the Elves, who come in at night and put knots in her hair. As indicated here and explained to me, they have apparently been bothering Mina since the year 2000. Mina says that she “always has math going through her head”. Sometimes though, she “turns the calculator off.”
Today’s entry in our Virtues journal. I’m sure in the summer that i’ll miss the time spent waiting for the school doors to open.
